- Identify mandatory WHS duty of care legislation and regulations.
- WHS legislative and regulatory requirements specific to site and nature of work are identified.
- WHS duty of care requirements necessary to work safely in access consulting capacity are determined in relation to specific work site.
- WHS duty of care requirements to be provided by client are identified.
- Site safety hazards, risks and other WHS requirements that affect site-specific access consulting tasks are assessed.
- Follow safety requirements while on site.
- Potential site safety requirements are discussed with site management prior to commencing work at site.
- Site safety signs required in project are identified and followed.
- Required personal protective equipment (PPE) is identified and maintained according to safety needs of specific work site and applicable standards, codes and legislation.
- Site emergency procedures that apply to site visitors are identified and applied where required.
- Site work activities are conducted according to requirements of applicable standards, codes and legislation and organisational policies and procedures.
